Pacifica Engineering Services Acquires Goble Pile Check, LLC, Expanding Deep Foundation Testing and Technology Capabilities

Acquisition closes on PACIFICA’s ninth anniversary, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and expansion.

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — August 24, 2026 — Pacifica Engineering Services (“PACIFICA”), a Florida-based multidisciplinary engineering and inspection firm, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Goble Pile Check, LLC (“GPC”), effective August 17, 2026.

The transaction was completed on the same day as PACIFICA’s ninth anniversary, representing another major milestone in the company’s evolution from a regional engineering firm into a diversified provider of engineering, inspection, testing, technology, and construction-related professional services.

GPC provides specialized technology and capabilities related to the evaluation and testing of deep foundation systems. The acquisition strengthens PACIFICA’s existing geotechnical, deep foundation, construction materials testing, and specialty testing operations while providing a platform for continued development of proprietary testing technology.

“Completing this acquisition on PACIFICA’s ninth anniversary is especially meaningful,” said Wesley Foster, P.E., President and Founder of Pacifica Engineering Services. “Over the past nine years, we have built PACIFICA by continuously investing in our people, expanding our technical capabilities, and finding better ways to serve our clients. The acquisition of GPC represents the next stage of that growth.”

Foster continued, “This is more than the addition of another service. GPC brings technology, intellectual property, specialized expertise, and opportunities for future innovation that complement what PACIFICA already does in geotechnical engineering and deep foundation testing. Our objective is to build on what has already been created and expand the technology’s capabilities, applications, and reach.”

The acquisition will allow PACIFICA to integrate GPC’s technology with the company’s established engineering and field-testing infrastructure. PACIFICA intends to continue supporting existing GPC customers while investing in further development, modernization, and commercialization of the technology.

The addition of GPC also supports PACIFICA’s broader strategy of combining traditional professional engineering services with technology-driven solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and availability of information used by owners, contractors, engineers, and other construction industry stakeholders.

“We are proud of what Goble Pile Check has accomplished over the last several years, and equally as proud to have PACIFICA continue the mission of elevating the deep foundation Quality Assurance industry — a mission that began with Professor Dr. George Goble 60 years ago,” said Thai Nguyen, PE, PhD, President of GPC and principal developer of the N_GAPA signal matching software and other applications within the GPC Software Suite.

“PACIFICA has always been willing to invest in areas where we believe we can make the industry better,” Foster said. “We see substantial potential in GPC, and we are excited about what our combined team can build from here.”

Existing PACIFICA operations and client services will continue without interruption as the company begins integrating GPC into its organization.
